Locating our community
Tikkun Olam Nursery and Primary School is situated in Magada Village, Magada Sub-county, Namutumba District, eastern Uganda.

Yoash mayende Julius is now 29 years old born in Magada village Namutumba District in Uganda. Am a son of late Moshe Wondere and Ester Naigaga. I was born and raise in a Jewish life. My parents loved sending me to a Jewish school where I would understand Judaism and meeting other Jewish friend. Therefore because of that I was sent to Semei Kakungulu High school the only Jewish High school in Uganda.
From high school with the help of Abayudaya community under the Support of Kulanu I attain a Degree from Uganda Christian University.
Going through hard life and seeing suffering people in my community, I began looking for ways of changing life for the better as we shall see my work in the community in the next page.
I have travel to USA now three times, My first time was in 2013 at BCI in California where I met with the youth and stayed to gather for one month at camp. In two 2014 I came to BHEC to coach soccer and play around with the campers. With the worm welcome of the staff and campers fundraising campaign for my community and village began where some money was raised from the parents for my community. And this sparked off the need for the school. I was called back at camp and am working in the same field .
Today am the Director of Tikkun Olam Nursery and primary school with 300 children.
